Preserve order when moving elements from the selection

Is the current ordering preserved while creating new paths through the selection endpoint MoveSelection ?

Even if elements do not share the same base paths in the selection, their ordering should be respected.

I guess the next question would be how to pick their correct path & ordering when there are multiple ones ? Average ? Sum ?
