Chrome users get stuck on weird annotation display

When chrome users (tested on chromium v100 on linux), view certain element details, they can end up in a broken display where the image uses a LOT more space than half the screen, pushing the children tree and details out of viewport.

I'm able to recreate quickly:

1. go on that element
2. reload one or two times (seems to work best in a smaller resolution, when using a tiling manager, but reproduces too on full screen)
3. you end up in broken display
4. you get stuck, even after reloading
5. you get mad
