Draft: Remove mandatory sorting, let the user sort them before hand if needed

Yoann Schneider requested to merge make-left-sorting-optional into master

This basically reverts 35e4f018. While working on another worker, I noticed that the additional sorting is not always needed and might break other things. I think it's better to let the user decide if the lines should be sorted or not.
